Do you have a site where it could get some mid day shade?
I think the normal recommendation is for full sun in more coastal areas or areas with cooler summers like here, part shade hot and inland. If you give it too much shade though, it's going to be floppy - and a hard rain or overhead watering tends to make them flop anyway :)

Thank you so much for answering my question...I don't want to loose this beautiful plant!.....I do have a spot in my garden with "part" shade...The spot that I am considering is facing west..It will get sun for most of the day, but will be shaded from the hot afternoon sun by the shadow of a large sweet gum tree...since "sun" and "heat" have a difference in this valley, I may have to keep it watered with Ice cubes though....lol....
Thank you, again, and if you have any further information that I could use to keep this plant going, I would appreciate that information...(experience is SO much more informational than the tag that came with it or my google searches)...
