I wish I had a solution- they have been an increasing pest in NJ over the last few years. Somehow through a torn screen I ended up with a few in my house! Yuck!! Exterminators have told me they are an extra $$$ to eliminate/treat.
I had the citronella geraniums and a few other herbs that repelled pests planted around my gardens as well as some onions and garlic I randomly buried for pest control. I also had tomato plants in huge planters with marigolds and basil. I didn't have any bug problems at all with my beds/planters. IDK if what /I did had any real effect- it was done to keep out the rodentia lol. Inside I just replaced the filters on my dustbuster and sucked em up. Gah those little buggers are nasty!!!

I bet my pet chickens would gobble them up! They would need to be supervised, or they'll tear up the whole garden too. If companion planting like littlemamababy doesn't work to disorient the bugs and you still find yourself with an infestation, send me an email or something. I'd love to put a hen or two to the test. (in exchange for some tomatoes!)
