Thanks for sharing the pictures. Lots of pine trees lost branches in the Princeton area. It was a very heavy snow. We went out every couple of hours to brush off our sky pencil hollies which bent clear to the ground from the snow.

I had 5' camellias bent to the ground. There were many white pine branches nearby which snapped off. I don't have white pines. Longleaf pines are tolerant of ice and snow and they cast a pleasant dappled shade which is gardenable.

These Trachycarpus fans will spring back fairly well in June when the snow melts.
