When did you receive them? Are they planted in the ground?

I'm also often leery of planting instructions that come with some mail order plants.....kinda depends on who the suppliers is as to how good/accurate they might be. So how were they planted?

You can usually find River Birch at your local LOWES, Home Depot, or other Big Box hardware store.

Your chances at success will be much better than with trees which came through the mail.

I DID PLANT THEM IN POTTING SOIL WITH NO FERTILIZER AND USED ROOT STIMULANT. THEY ARE IN A 5 GALLON POT AND MULCHED THEM AS THEY SAID IN INSTRUCTIONS. THEY GET SUN DAILY ABOUT 4 HOURS AND WATERED WHEN NEEDED. ONE OF THE TREES RESPONDED BEAUTIFULLY BUT THE OTHER 2 NOTHING. i EVEN CUT THE TOP OFF TO SEE IF ITS GREEN AND ITS BROWN ALL THE WAY THRU. ITS BEEN 5 WEEKS NOW AND THEY SAY 6 WEEKS BUT I DON'T SEE MUCH HAPPENING I A WEEK. THANKS
