Hey - My pool is almost finished and I need to start landscaping around it. I was wondering if anyone had advice on plants that don't shed too much, don't have large root systems (to damage my pool plumbing and what not) don'tneed a lot of attention but do need a lot of sun... and will still look lush and tropical around my pool.

I'm very new to the gardening-thing so any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
