Much to my dismay, my husband took it upon himself to trim (more like hack) our jade plant today in effort to promote more vertical, rather than horizontal, growth. The plant is (was) a monster, thriving & happy. Now, 3 of its major limbs have been chopped. Can anybody comment on whether the cut limbs need to be sealed with pruning paint or if any other special action should be taken? I love this plant and want it to survive the hack-job that befell it.
