My neighbor plants marigolds all around the outer edge of his garden and it seems to work. I sprinkle pepper around the outer edges of my flower gardens and that works, too.

LOL...I just fenced my marigolds from the rabbits.

I put up an ugly fence. My bunnies seem to like the added flavor the hot pepper gave to the beans I had planted. I also walk my doggies around the garden.

Bloodmeal worked for me this spring. I sprinkled it around my Crocus on the front flower bed.

In the backyard, I attached 3' wide 1" chicken wire along my chain link fence and yell at anyone who leaves the gate open. :-)

Last week a neighbor spread rabbit repellent along her fence. It had nephthalene in it. I am in the garden all the time. The fume irritated my airway and I have been having a sore throat ever since and started to cough last night. Not good. If it is bad for me, what about the birds and other creatures?

i just tried using Liquid Fence on my hostas and impatiens. Is it safe to use on my herb garden? The rabbits have made my basil completely disappear! I just bought some more to plant, but want to be safe before I use Liquid Fence on my garden (newly planted basil, tomatos, chives, onions, and banana peppers.
