I moved the same time last year. Tomatoes, Peppers and basil do well in pots and can move with you.

I was thinking the same thing, plant whatever you wanted in pots and take it, but wondering if anyone had time to bother with pots when working on a move. I think some people start their fall vegetables in July or after - like kale or collards. I know there are a few people who post here that grow large vegetable gardens but they don't seem to be around right now. You might do better on the vegetable gardening forum. Also, a few books have timetables in them. Square foot gardening does, if I remember correctly.
