Hi Padma, some of the local garden centers do carry it, at least they did last year. One that I know did is now closed, unfortunately. Call around, maybe Forcellati's in Wall or Barlows in Sea Girt. I think Middletown Garden Center has it, but I didn't check our their yard last week.

I'm unfamiliar with mushroom soil. Is it an organic supplement? What does it add to the soil that is beneficial? Does it affect the PH ?

If I remember correctly, Padma's in Monmouth (only the coastal portion of Monmouth is zone 7a, most of the county is 6b). Thanks for the info on Molzon's, I forget about going over there for things like this.

Try A&M on 130. They usually carry all kinds of compost.
Another place worth trying is Kuppek's. www.kuppek.com. They are an organic lawn care company. They are located some where near Pennigton.

I was just there in Tony's on 130 today. But that was before I read about A&M. Thanks Hema, for the tip. I bought soil from A&M last month but never really checked their nursery as it was still cold weather. Thanks everybody to replying.
