You might want to look at the big list of forums and notice the ones with a pair of 'circling' arrows to the side. Those are forums with plant/seed exchanges operating. Some are lively; others not.

The links to the page are 'very discreet' - look under the blurb paragraph at the top of the page for words such as 'search' which have a link line under them.

Think about the sorts of seeds you're wanting for your garden - and maybe consider going to other forums. For example - the Rocky Mountains forum is very lively and active with plant and seed exchanges. If you were prepared to pay for packaging and postage you'd probably find people willing to send you seeds.

Head over to the Seed Exchange forum. You may find a few threads of people that are offering their seeds up for postage (sasbe's = self addressed stamped bubble envelopes), which is a great way to start out; that's exactly how I got started.
Technically it's against the rules to ask for seeds without trading, but you may notice quite a bit of that going on anyway.
Check out this thread for some members helpful tips about getting started. Have fun ;)
