I ended up ordering from Pinetree seeds - fast and fairly cheap. What I got is the thickness of a garbage bag not the really heavy duty woven-textured stuff that professional operations use.

Its thick stuff, almost like a door mat, Is that what your looking for. It looks like its made out of old tires.

Thanks for providing some information regarding the plastic mulch. I am in search of the type that is about the thickness of a trash bags that have the perforated holes to allow for better drainage. I have seen the thicker, landscape fabric at my local retailers, however it's just too thick for my needs in the garden.
