I just took a look at my elderberry which had been in beautiful bloom and was so disappointed to find only a few flowers are forming berries. Is that common with elderberry? Did the flowers not get pollinated or did something eat them?

Tomatoes: Brandywine Suddeth strain, in particular. I've grown this variety for years and know the yield is not good but it's delicious and worth the space. However, this year, the flowers are puny to non-existent, while both the Dr. Wych's and Persimmon are going great guns. Does anyone else grow Brandywine Suddeth and are you experiencing the same problem?
