Well, last years was the 1st full growing season in my new house and I didn't really plant much because I wanted to see what the old owners had. So I was pleased to see she had planted bridalwreath spirea (10 of them in a hedge row), Weigela, Weeping cherry, Cherry, 2 crape myrtle's and the 2 flowering plum tree's. She picked some good base tree's and shrubs for me to go on. Some of the bushes need to be moved because she planted them to close to the house but I can fix that.

I did plant some hosta's and lillies that are doing real good this year but that's all I did last year. I had to build a vegetable garden and that took some time. Next year ask me because I did I lot this year.

Mine was first season last year too and I blindly and faithfully planted the wintersown Sweetwilliam, shasta diasies, wallflowrers, gallardias, lavender and columbine. They were so tiny and stayed that way for most of last year and this year I have an abundance of these plants and flowers. Also my roses... I had planted 28 plants and all of them are doing so good and every time I look at them I feel like a big success...
