There is not too many that will grow in the shade that produce flowers for our cold climates, the only one you can try is Hydrangea petiolaris-Climbing hydrangea, a very slow grower. Of other vines, there is Hedera-Ivy and Euonymus-wintercreeper, but they dont produce flowers.
I have tried honeysuckle vine, it is for semi shade and its doing nicely in the shade. It has a pretty red flower and has a nice fragrance.
