Today I visited several palmy sites in Hamilton & downtown Trenton. All were planted 7 or 8 years ago. This is behind the Hamilton Library. Trachys are in poor, gravelly soil and have been slow.

These are Sabal minor 'McCurtain' at the Human Services Bldg. There are trachys here also, but they're in dryish shade in poor soil and have been very slow.

There are basjoo banana , crape myrtle, palms, Choisya ternata 'Sundance', & Spiraea at the Mercer County Courthouse.
