This weekends cold spell and tree question

Well, this weekend officially ended my dahlias growing season!!! Hoping my potted plants came through ok, had a wrench put into planting azaleas because the tree I was planting them under apparently has bacterial leaf scorch ( pin oak) and has to come out.

Have any of y'all dealt with tree removal, and if so, what is a typical price? It's a pin oak, at least 50-60 feet and 2 foot or so diameter

Hi, did you get your tree taken care of yet? Where in Central NJ do you live? There is a great family company, Neuls Tree service, from near Bordentown. I find them quite fair and reasonable. Removal can be darn expensive, but I think they might charge $500?? I got the old crippled up lady who let her yard get overgrown discount, but feel whatever price they quote is fair. If you did get it done, what did you pay?
