I hope your tree is doing better, The only thing I say
is to check for what is called bath tub effect were water
dosn't drain out of a hole dug in clay, doublly so if
water can drain in from another part of the yard.
I did see there is a conifer forum hear at GW.

Thanks James. I was thinking that drainage might be the problem. Not sure how to fix that though. I will cut back the amount of water I am giving it I guess. I will post on the Conifer forum as well. Thanks again.
