Hi everyone! This is my first posting here, very excited to join in.

I have a bit of denial going on; I love English style gardens and I live in Las Vegas. I thought a good compromise would be to have an arbor with jasmine vines climbing it but they're not moving. They've bloomed in spring and sometimes fall, but they're the exact size they were when I planted them 2 years ago. I amended the soil before planting and fertilize every few months but all that happens is the leaves and blooms appear bushier--no picturesque climbing vines.

Any suggestions? I love the smell so I don't really want to tear them out, but I'm annoyed after 2 years of stunted plants. Thanks!
