Flowers blooming to early

I'm in z5 and my Hibiscus and Rose of Sharon are already blooming. I'm thinking they should bloom in late July and August.

Am I wrong or has anyone else noticed this?

Also the mums are budded ready to open. I know we have had a lot of rain and heat, but if they bloom now,what will fall look like? OH MY!

irene, I don't know what part of IN you are in, but I am in SW Indiana. My neighbors Rose of Sharon has been in full bloom for about a week 1/2 now. I think it's just the cold/wet spring we had, followed by hot dry spell that might have things growing a little earlier than normal maybe.
Hope this doesn't mean we are in for a hard winter!
