My front foundation bed has several taxus media "everlow"s, some boxes, and some hollies, with a weeping Japanese maple as a centerpiece. I'd like to add something with lighter foliage for contrast with all the dark evergreens and I fell in love with a pot of Euonymus fortunei "Harlequin" and the way it looks against the yews. Will I be sorry if I plant a few among other low, spreading things? Will it be ok in a border that gets a couple-three hours of morning sun?
