I'm in that MG class you mentioned, so you can say I'm a Master Gardener in training! My mother is also a Master Gardener and stops by every so often, even tho she lives in Northern Ohio.

I don't know if you live in Hamilton County, but Clermont county also has a Master Gardener course that I beleive starts first of the year. It may be worth looking into.

i have been a Master Gardener for several years. the courses are not too hard but you do have to pay attention and try to learn the stuff
i was certified in hamilton county but now i just belong to the state of ohio master gardeners. i'd love to participate in the local association monthly meetings but i live a good distance from them so its a long drive round trip to attend and between my full time day job and my design work and garden maintenance on the side i find it hard to make time to attend the meetings. i know i am missing out on lots of fun and some very good gardening friendships though!!
