Yucca, Agave

Last April I planted a Soaptree Yucca and an Agave NeoMexicana in our Southern Minnesota backyard. I provided no protection over the winter. It was pretty much snow-covered Dec - March. Now, the snow is gone. They look fine, except for the inner leaves of each plant: The ends of those leaves, about halfway down the leaves, are quite yellow. Is that due to moisture from the snow? The rest of each plant looks fine - do you think they'll recover? What can I do to help them recover? Thanks.
