It looks really nice. A greenhouse doesn't have to be big and fancy to be useful.

I assume you'll use the lights to keep it warm on freezing nights?

Larry, that is cool greenhouse! Frame can be used for greenhouse in winter/spring and insect pest control with row cover in summer. -Chandra

Dawn, I only use lights if I have to. I have rope lights I like better because of the low heat, I don't have them in there yet, I was just getting set up ahead of time. There is a line voltage thermostat between the light, that I think is rated for 15 amps, but no way would I put that kind of heat in something made of that type of plastic.

I still need to make a shield for the thermostat and seal the lights. I did not do that last year but I think is is a smarted thing to do because none of the components are designed for that type of use, but the power is run through a ground fault. In the future I hope to come up with something better. As things are now I only use it about 2months a year and hate to invest a lot of money in it.

Chandra, the tent is too expensive to heat in the winter. I may build a cold frame to grow winter crops in but it will be designed differently than the tent. The tent works OK for short term use, but nothing else. Well It might be OK to place a frost blanket over, but I have never done anything like that.
