I have one that grew straight up and over 4 feet a couple of years ago. It's usually over three feet tall. If you bend the cane over, you could get an incredible number of flowers.

Jetred, I have never heard of HFH growing so TALL as yours! Mine tops out at about four feet! Though, your picture does resemble HFH .... maybe, by chance, you instead have some climbing variety? How much live wood survives the winter on this rose for you? Terry

That is what mine does also. There are a few canes on mine that are close to seven feet. I just love my HFH, I couldn't believe it when it started sending those canes up either. Then I thought some of the huge canes would have die back in the winter, but they did not have any dieback.

Glad to know someone has this happening to HFH. It is still growing and producing lots of clusters of deep red flowers. Makes me wonder how tall it will grow. I guess it is happy with the fertilizer I have been using!
