Vandas increase their flower size to reach their maximum size 3 to 4 blooms after 1 st bloom. I always warn newbies about this as they buy small Vandas while looking at the 'Sample Plant' with it's big beautiful flowers. I tell them not to be disappointed if their first bloom is significantly smaller. After a few blooms it will be up to speed. I don't know if that is also true for flower count. I hope so as this plant's effort of 4 flowers is anemic. It's appreciated anyway.
