Lovely flowers. And your plant is potted. Over 2+ years, I've gone from mounted to potted to mounted again. Roots and growths but no flowers.

Hi Whitecat. It's still in the pot it came in from OL. I think I will repot it when it starts to grow new roots and pbs again. I grow it pretty bright, the old growth is purplish, and the newer growth has purple freckles. I suspected it might bloom when I noticed last summer how plump the new pbs/leaves were looking.

It was out on my 3-season porch last summer, which is all windows, and when I brought it in I put it in a south-facing window where it gets very bright dappled light in addition to light from my CFLs. I water it every few days, and sometimes mist it with a very dilute fertilizer on the days I do not water it. The spikes began to emerge way back in October. The plant was out on the porch until the end of October, and it was often pretty cool at night, even with the windows closed, so maybe that's why it took a long time for it to flower, I don't know. The purple lip is a lot brighter this year, maybe because of the amount of light I'm giving it.

Cool. No South sunlight here, only E/SE w/ T8s, but I'm getting ready to put in 2 Wonderlites. From what I hear, they'll make a huge difference for the non-bloomers that "should" bloom in my intermediate conditions.

In the meantime, I can get the Leptotes out of the big glass jar thingie and right next to the glass in the window.
