All my tomatoes sprout within a week to 10 days of each other, including black cherry. I have several varieties that did not sprout this year. I waited then resowed. Those didn't sprout either. I've concluded I have infertile seeds. You might try sprouting them using the damp coffe filter in a baggie method (details at the Growing from Seed Forum). That's the fastest way to determine if they are viable.

My black cherry took a bit longer as well but only day or three. All are up now.

My black cherry seeds sometimes are slower than others, and sometimes have lower germination rates than others, but not always. My source has been three different retailers, and it has been hit and miss with each one. (of course, there's a good chance they all get their seed from the same wholesaler.) To work around it, I generally sow more seed than I want to I get the number that I want.

Thank you all for the info.
I started some more yesterday and I may try the coffee filter and baggie later today.
I try to start twice as many as I need and I just couldn't figure none of them coming up. I guess I can blame it on me really looking forward to trying them out this year :-)
Hopefully it's not an issue with the entire packet and the ones I started yesterday will make. If not, there's always next year.
