This particular tank is set on its end vertically. It is 20-30 gallon, i'm not sure. It might be a 29 gallon 'tall' type. But i grew the Haerella without a tank for at least two or three years.

When you say vertical, does that mean the open part that usually would be parallel to the floor is perpendicular to it?

Is the opening covered at all?

And you've got some wiring in there for hanging? Maybe something that doesn't rust?

Sheila, I recently rehomed mine but grew it in intermediate conditions which included low humidity in the house in winter, and it bloomed from 3 spikes for months, then a couple died off. After awhile, it threw at least one more spike.

Nice scent, too.
