Love these little buggers but cannot make them live. Tried numerous times, they do not like me.

Me either! How are you growing it? Are you growing it in straight sphag?

Jane - It is grown in pure sphag - you can't see it in this pic, but there is a 2-in. pot set into a larger container of damp sphag to keep the humidity up around the plant while it is on display. In the coldest part of the winter, the part of my basement growing area where the D. cuthbertstonii plants live can get well into the 40's, and the highs are only upper 60's. The light is very bright, and humidity never goes below 60%. Very little fertilizer. In the summer, the temps are from the 60's to the 80's, and the RH stays in the 90% range. Lots of air movement. They seem to like it.

You are so lucky you have been able to keep it so cool. I just couldn't keep them alive, no less blooming.
