I love Tollumnias. Every year I buy a few, some actually survive, very slowly the collection is growing. 3 steps forward, 2 back, 2 forward, 2 back then 4 forward and only 2 back. The last would have been a successful year! Once well established, I find that they do stick, just hard getting them to stick. My environment is too wet for them, I believe.

I use the tiny terra cotta pots with lava rock. Can't use rhizome clips, the plant is too delicate. A low volume mist for watering. And maxi-crop, Norwegian seaweed juice, a root stimulant. It works well! Once established they will take a stronger stream of water. It requires patience as the roots are tiny. They like water daily but must dry out each day. Lava rocks fit the bill.
