For some time I have been trying to find out what the large-flowered florist's "Dancing Doll/ Golden Rain" is. At last I think I have it: Onc. forbesii x varicosum aka Boissense . The color remains pretty much varicosum but the forbesii has increased the lip size. The plant too is less tall and ungainly than varicosum and does not spread so rapidly so is more easily contained in a pot.
