This plant was given to me as a species epi. When it bloomed (yesterday) I spent 4 hours on IOSE site looking at all the species epi's. Only epidendrum pseudepidendrum was similar but the colors were all wrong so I thought it might be a natural hybrid. Googled pseudepidendrum hybrids and found.......Epc Rene Marquez 'Flame Thrower'

(epi pseudepidendrum x C. intermedia x c. loddigesii).

I was quite pleased ...obviously.
