Another experiment using natural light without the camera flash when taking a picture of a flower having deep maroon color. The best result I got was a not-so-dark/flat/dry maroon color on the lip but had to enhance it a bit using a photo editor --- the photo now represents the true coloration...
Got this plant a while back and finally got it to bloom this time after a looong wait. Not sure if this is 'Mariposa' itself or its own progeny. The elderly gentleman I got this from insists that the clonal name is accurate but cannot recall where he got it since he had it for such a long time.
