Very nice - I have plain old P. tancarvilliae in spike right now, but I've never seen this one before - where did you get it? I like the D. spectabile in the preceding post as well - I have a number of Latouria Dens, and that is one of my favorites, for its completely bizarre appearance.

Such a prolific bloomer. Very pretty colors. What is the pink plant blooming inthe background?

A friend who had been to a show in Dallas gave me the plant. It had just finished blooming. This is the second time it has bloomed for me. I also have the Phaius Tankervilleae in bloom with three bloom spikes. By the way guess you saw this one actually has five bloom stalks. The background plant is two Bouganvillas in the same pot.

In fact this is a hybrid of Phaius tankervillae and Gastrorchis tuberculosa, so it's correct name would be Gastrophaius Dan Rosenberg. That is somewhat better than Gastrorchis tuberculosa, however, which sounds as if it could be terminal...
