This Phal is in a 5" pot. The spikes are so heavy the plant will not stand up. I have it propped with rocks to keep it from falling over. Each flower is 4 1/2 inches wide and creates quite a display. I call it 'the Phal on steroids' -

It's a beauty!!! I've spent the afternoon today enjoying similar 'eye candy' at the Houston Show. I took two family members with me, one on Thursday, one today. They now know why I'm so addicted to orchids! Here my eyes are weary and I'm still looking for orchid photos...addicted, that's me!
