Blech, that does not sound like an enticing fragrance. Attractive flower and plant, though. I'm glad it bloomed for you. Now, by tiny, do you mean it could fit in the palm of my hand? I'm getting some idea based on being able to see the tag from Andy's, but I only started ordering from them late last year, so I don't know if the tag size is the same. Still, I imagine it must be small if the tag is longer than the plant...

These are one of my fav species too, now I can own and bloom 4 diff subspecies - love this one too!

I love the Trichoglottises. I have my eye on a T.philippinense at the moment, but they are sooo expensive!

I'm afraid my youngest would eat the blooms then. Can't seem to break him from having play-doh stuck between his teeth. Beautiful blooms - my heart skipped a beat or two. It's on my list...it's a LONG list.

Good time for a fragrance update.

It smells a LOT better now. I don't know if it improves over time or if it changes based on the time of day, but yesterday when I smelled it, it was quite nice. Spicy and sweet. And the flowers show no sign of fading yet. Although now that it has been hot as crap...they probably will soon.
