It is one of my favorites too.Nice flowers that can last a very long time. A game changer for me was when I started using Maxi-crop. Norwegian seaweed juice. Which is a root stimulator. The roots get fatter and long translucent tips. Roots to a plant are like a heart to a mammal.

Seeing beautiful flowers is the big reward for growing orchids. The second reward for me is the plant in peak growth. The flowers respond to that.

I think "blue monster" is more apt. That's such an awesome sight though.
Going to have to get some Maxicrop for myself later.

Blue Twinkle was one of my first non-phalaenopsis orchids. We did not get along. Yours is lovely

Harvey, I love this Dendrobium!!! Are you growing outdoors or in a GH? Your plants are so lush you cannot even see thru them.

I have a few in the yard on trees but most are inside My screen enclosure around the pool. I also have in the enclosure a small area to enclose for heating purposes in the Winter. This den gets direct morning sun that is cut by 10% due to the screens. Afternoon is bright and shaded by my house.

It all sounds like a lovely, perfect set-up! I wish we could manage something like it. My little GH might make it thru the winter, but it's days are numbered. if the area between our house, pool and gardens wasn't so tight I'd copy- cat your plan.
