I bought a bunch of corms last winter from a seller on Ebay, very cheaply, and now they are starting to bloom. Little flowers, about 1/2" across, but very pretty. If you saw them growing in your lawn, you probably would think they were some very small member of the mint family, if you noticed them at all, but from the side you can see the long spurs.

A different color variety, and actually quite a different shape of the lip:
