Which winter sowing are you referring too? Are you talking about the perennial/annuals seeds? If so, yep, I have about 50% of the containers with sprouts.

About the last lawn project, KBG seeds sprouted on the north front side. However, I didn't see much on the hell strip and just a few on the south side. Someone told me if it didn't sprout last August, they will sprout this spring.

That depends. Was this keep free of any moisture, or was it exposed to even the moisture in the air? Moisture is always the cause of failure of any seed product, although high temperatures can also be.
