wow they are so beautiful i wish i could grow the angrecums are they hard to grow i just love the Angcm. sesquipedale tell me what you know

What I know is, you need Angs. Start with this one. Get one new one each month until this time next year. In one year, get Sesquipedale. By then you should have approximately 12. I know that is not nearly enough but it is a good start.

They're both nice. I really love the Gongora..My quinquenervis has grown like a weed but no spikes yet.

As far as breeding them? These two don't cross right? I mean, pig and elephant DNA just don't splice, right?

Gots to love the grandiflora, it's a magnificent aeranthes.

Who knows, Clint? You know one thing about orchids that makes them "special" is the ability to interbreed among different genus. But i think it is important for each to have the same number of chromasomes. I'm not sure about that though...if anyone does know, please chime in!

I'm pretty sure they don't breed. What is the rule? They have to be in the same tribe or subtribe?

That would definitely be an interesting cross!
