My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Fireplace Remodel

The traditional mantel was replaced with a salvaged barn beam. The TV was installed above, freeing a corner where the TV cabinet had been built in.

      I would have painted the original mantle and kept it. I think there is too much exposed brick and I don't really care for the new mantle at all- much too rustic for my taste.

      Karen, we painted most of the trim--replaced around the fireplace

      That built in cabinet with tv on top no longer exists--the fireplace is centered, on an angled wall. Thank you for your comments!!
