I've never bought seeds from WM. I have bought plants a time or two but buy mainly from local nursery except for daylilies that i buy from Homestead Farms up in MO. I also never buy electronics from WM. I've seen too many people have trouble with their stuff. I'd rather pay more at Radio Shack or local furniture store and know i'm getting dependable things.

Yep, Baker Creek has been dependable for me as well as several other companys.

Vickie, I quit the electronics from them after my last purchase. I bought an electric skillet and within a week, the coating was coming off in peels. I think the quality of their products has dropped dramatically. I didn't have good luck with Park seed last year either.

Glad to hear that about Homestead. I have looked at their website a couple of years but never ordered. I pass by the turnoff to their place when we visit our son near St. Louis. I want to go up during bloom season and stop by. I want a watermelon colored one and the pictures are so misleading.

I'd like to go to homestead farms some day.

I had seen a houseplant at Walmart that i'd never seen before. Decided to get it yesterday. When i lookd it over i discovered there were aphids on it.

I don't know...I've bought Wal-Mart seeds and they came up...I may have killed most of them, but they did come up...Out here we only have K-Mart. Supposed to be the biggest K-Mart in the world and it is the ONLY place to shop, so I am kind of missing Wal-Mart right now. Last November, Home Depot opened here in Guam. Was the biggest event on the island...Never really cared for Home Depot when I was in the States...Always preferred Lowes. I got the feeling Lowes Garden Center prices were lower than Home Depot and they took better care of their plants, to boot.
