Buy all you can get at that price. CGM has higher protien count than soy plus repeated use provides some pre-emergent weed killing properties. That's a great price. Bill Hill

Thanks Bill Hill-- I was kicking myself for not paying better attention- I was expecting them to tell me it was something more like 20-30 bucks a bag and actually had them double check the price because I swore it sounded too good to be true.

the feed store near me sells SBM 50# @ $16.00 and Bradfield Organics CGM @ $40.00. I used the CGM last year, but I cant pay that much for it anymore. I went with the SBM.

Whoa!! I wonder why it's so inexpensive around here?? Huh-- weird.

Just curious- do I have to treat the Bradfield stuff as more of a traditional fertilizer as far as application goes?? I mean, with SBM I just turned the spreader to it's widest openings and walked back and forth across the lawn- no need to pay attention to overlapping and all that. I hated the hassle of really having to make sure I didn't miss any spots or end up with streaks with the chemical stuff. So frustrating.
