Here is the first blooming of my Dendrobium unicum. It has six flowers on two canes. It is supposed to be fragrant but I do not detect anything yet.

Beautiful, nice photography too. I have never been able to bloom this plant. Keep it too moist I guess.

It is quite possible that yours was kept too moist. I keep mine pretty dry through the winter. I have been watering well during the summer but it is planted in mostly sponge rock. So dries pretty quickly. I am a bit of a chronic underwaterer to add to the mix.
