i live in south central missouri, about 60 miles from the arkansas border, has everyone in this area had good luck with growing magnolias ? does the site-- windbreak, etc, make a difference? wayside gardens has some beautiful trees, but before i spend that much, i'd like to know of others success in the area. been here over 60 years-but havent tried magnolias before.
