Been there, done that, have the fried circuit boards to prove it. :-)

Alternating SBM and Ringer's is fine if that works for you and it's what you can get. Anything else you can add is a plus, but between the two you've got a good start.

Milorganite is generally available and fairly inexpensive, assuming it's an OK part of your organic plan. It works for me, others don't and won't use it.

Cracked corn is often available (as a deer or cattle feed) and does a good job, plus has some anti-fungal characteristics.

However, don't go nuts. If it's SBM and Ringer's, that's great.

Should I be using alfalfa while overseeding this spring, or should i use sbm? or something else?
