Amazing photos - I've been waiting for these :) I don't know whether I like the r. imshootiana more for the blooms or for it's name. Your Dawn Maree is really nice - nicer than mine. I like the green veining - I find that the lip on mine turns completely orange as the flower ages, so it'd be interesting to see what yours does.

Thanks for your comments. Yes, the imschootiana does have a strange name. I mis-spelled it originally.

The Dawn Maree bloomed early Feb. and the blooms faded late April, which is quite a long time, I think. I don't recall any colour change on the lip.

Lovely orchids. Now i know why Tokyo Magic is used as a parent in a lot of crosses in my latest orchid catalogue.

Arthur, I've had Tokyo Magic on my list when I first saw it somewhere online. Mine had 2 spikes, and about 6-7 blooms, and the plant had blooms from April 12 and faded July 19. So it's a really nice, dependable orchid. It's also fragrant.
