Cattleya/ Epidendrum disease

A disease is devastating my Catts and Epis. Other species seem to be little affected. Has anyone any idea what it is? I had an infestation of orchid beetle about 6 months ago, but thought I had dealt with it (Neem). I have seen no sign of the beetles recently.

I have had something similar affecting my Gongoras. No idea what it is. I'm spraying with Sevin, Malathion and Neem oil/agricultural soap at weekly intervals in rotation. Just started don't know yet if it is going to work.
