Do you get much of a color shift on the Bl. Richard Mueller x Lc.Rojo as the flowers age (as Muelller crosses tend to do)?

Wow! I love the Laelia cross! On my lap top (I'm traveling) it looks so blue! Where did you get that?

Thanks for your comments. The answers are:
1) Fragrance - They are all sitting together on a table (I'll try to post a picture soon), so it's a little hard to tease out what smells like what. The David Sander does not seem to be fragrant, although it's supposed to be. This is it's first bloom, so maybe next time.
2) Copper Queen is not fragrant, but has opened another flower whose color is very different from the one in the photograph. Definitely not yellow, more of a sunset, tawny orange.
3) I have not yet noticed a color shift on the Mueller/Rojo cross but that is common and I'm still hoping.
4) Alas, the Laelia is not in reality very blue. It is a lovely strong lavender with a deeper colored lip. Quite fragrant, but sort of gardenia-ish which I don't care for.

So I've been doing some research trying to find a B. David Sander of my very own - darn gallery is costing me, first the Encyclia Cochleata Alba and now my hunt for your David Sander, LOL.

The David Sander orchids I've found have all been white. Where did you acquire your beauty?

Love the blooms/pics. Especially the David Sander. I hope mine blooms out with some color too. I'm sooooo anxious to see it's bloom. You not only grow beautiful orchids, you photograph them beautifully. Congratulations on your summer blooms.

Beautiful flowers and photos, Amy. I'm surprised that the David Sander isn't fragrant. I'd have thought it would be nocturnally fragrant, given the parents (cucullata x digbyana). I'll have to wait to give mine the sniff test. Most of my brassavolas are in bloom but my David Sander may not be mature enough. Hope it's as pretty as yours.
