Looks to me like a beautifully grown Ctna, probably has a lot of CTNA Why Not in there.

Picotee: When I originally purchase this orchid that's what I believed. Since then I've been told sternly that it's NOT a CTNA Why Not, but you're right - there's some Why Not in it - that's the question!

I think it's a Stlma. but I forgot what that's short for !! I used to have Stlma. Kelly 'Lea' and it grew like a weed and went through the color changes similar to yours. The shape of bloom is similar. See below.

Chrys, I had the same thought at first. You may be right but I don't think it's 'Kelly Lea,' which I also grow. Perhaps Stlma Florida Sunset? I still think it's closer to CTNA. The flowers are similar, but, at least in my collection, Stellamizutaara leaves are longer and a bit thinner. In any case, it's certainly a beautifully grown plant. Good growing, Tampaart!

Thank you! I did a search for StLma and came up with Stellamizutaara Florida Sunset. It's a cross between B. Maria del Carmen x Ctna. Why Not 'Red Gold'. It's a perfect match - now I know.
